Nobody has as profound an impact on changing the direction of Malayalam music like Shyam. Samuel Joseph alias Shyam is a popular Malayalam music director from Tamil Nadu..... A Tamilian by birth, Shyam worked as an assitant to MSV, Devarajan and Salil Chowdhary before making it big in Malayalam with a new genre of music that had his signature on it. Although Shyam has a style all his own and each song bears his stamp of quality, each one is an independent entity, a quality that is rare.

Apart from his music scores in movies, his theme musics are still considered as the finest example of scores ever composed in Malayalam cinema. His theme music of Oru CBI Diary Kurippu, August 1, Moonamura, Irupatham Noottandu are popular even today. He is famous for creating fast number along with slow melodies. He won the Kerala State award for the best music composer for the years 1983 (Film: Aroodam) and 1984 (Film: Kanamarayathu).

For my interview board at NIT, I really don't know how they cleared me...
But I hope sincerely that I did justice to all by studying well...

These two years where the best of my life, I enjoyed the most...
Seeing my fotos, my colleagues commented that its better to do higher studies after getting OLD... May be its because I could concentrate sincerely on my studies.....

But the most that I could've avoided, saying NO to admission at REC Calicut in Mechanical Engg for getting Computer Science at Trichur GEC.
Still regretting for that, yes little. Noooo na, I got my life, my sweet Aayush na......

My favourite movie 4- Thoovanathumbikal

PLOT:-

Jayakrishnan (Mohanlal), a well-to-do bachelor lives a dual life, one among his friends in the town and the other at his native village, where he lives with his mother and sister. While he is a free bird celebrating life with his crowd of friends in town, he is a proper family-man at home. The film is about his dual life and his encounter with the sex-worker-to-be Clara (Sumalatha), which takes him on a different journey and his love of Radha (Parvathy).

Jayakrishnan is a typical Keralaite guy belonging to a noble family. He has his own vision of life, especially when it comes to marriage. He is hardworker and works in his own farm. At the same time he find time to enjoy a very modern life with his friends in town, about which very few people in his village knows.

One day he meets the girl called Radha, who is a distant relative of him and he fall in love with her. What attracts him to Radha is her toughness in her words(which normally potraits a persons character) which very few girls will possess. Now he feels it very hard not to tell Radha that he loves her and want to marry her. But Radha refuses it, thinking that he is a flirt.

Meanwhile, Jayakrishnan meets another girl, Clara. She hails from coastal fishermen community and was having poor life with her step-mother harassing her badly and was trying to get out her clutches. As an easy way for this, Clara agrees to become a sex worker and meets Jayakrishnan. Under the depression on getting rejected by Radha, Jayakrishnan gets acquainted with Clara and under one circumstance, make love with her. Later realizing that Clara was a virgin, Jayakrishnan becomes very much disturbed. Because one of his promises to his life is not to spoil a girls virginity unless, she is his wife or in-case he happens to do so, then that girls should become his wife. Thinking that breaking his one promise in life, he may spoil his entire life, Jayakrishan proposes to Clara. Admired by his sincerity to life she felt it difficult to reject his proposal and so Clara just disappears from Jayakrishnan because, she did not want to spoil his life by becoming his wife as she has already become a sex-worker in mind.

During this time, Radha, hearing more about Jayakrishnan from her brother (Madhavan), who is pretty close to Jayakrishnan, starts falling in love with him and becomes ready to accept his proposal. Her brother tell her that it was the first time that Jayakrishnan is proposing to a girl. She meets Jayakrishan and express her feelings and tell him that she feels sorry about what had happened in their first meeting. But now Jayakrishnan feels that he is not the right person for Radha and when she asks the reason, he will disclose everything that happened for him with Clara. Now she feels even more closer to him because of his sincerity. Radha, now express to Jayakrishnan, how she feels about him and tell him that she is not worried about his past and since he is not going to meet Clara anymore, she does not care about her. But Clara comes to the town again to meet Jayakrishnan. Jayakrishnan couldn't help him from not meeting her. During his time with her, he tell her about Radha, and Clara feels so happy about that. But later on Clara feels that she is the hindrance for Jayakrishnan not committing to Radha and vows that she will not meet him anymore. And before she leaves, request him not to disappoint Radha.

Now Jayakrishan and Radha get closer to each other and decides to marry. Everything goes on fine for a period until one day Jayakrishnan gets a telegram stating that Clara is coming to see him once more and this would be the last time they would meet each other and it would be shot meeting at the town railway station. Clara is on her way for a long journey. Being shocked by this, Jayakrishnan and Radha couldn't decide what to do next. Radha requests Jayakrishnan not to meet Clara, but Jayakrishnan could not resist his mind from seeing her.

Towards the end of the movie, Jayakrishnan reaches the station to meet Clara. Radha too reaches the station without Jayakrishan's knowledge. At the station both gets shocked by seeing that Clara had already got married and is having a baby. She tells Jayakrishnan that she had decided to marry in-order to save both their futures. Now she will have a family life and Jayakrishnan will get Radha, with whom he had actually fallen in love. At the end the movie Clara leaves Jayakrishnan's life forever and Radha marries Jayakrishnan(though not shown explicitly in the end).

This movie is loosely based on the life of a Karakath Unni Menon, who was a close friend of Padmarajan when he was working at All India Radio, Thrissur. While staying at Ceylon lodge, Padmarajan got acquainted with Unni Menon and his gang of friends namely Kanjavu Varkey, 'Express George' and Vijayan Karot.

She is leading a happy life with her daughter and father in law (Raghavan) Her husband Mukundan (Siddique) is abroad and busy with his business activities. A lawyer by profession, Rajeev (Biju Menon) who is a music lover and also a voracious reader comes to go through the short story titled 'Meghamalhar' written by Nanditha.

A twist of fate brings them close to each other and they finally come to realize that they have regained the long lost vigor and vitality of their childhood life. She knows that Rajeev is her childhood playmate, but she does not reveal that she is the same Sreekkutty who was brought back to life from the brink of fate-worse than-death situation by Rajeev. A taste of nostalgia is rekindled since both of them have an invaluable storehouse of sweet memories. They decide to go to Kanyakumari, Nanditha's homeland where Rajiv spent his childhood during his father's brief stint with Govenment service. Trapped between the blooming love and conjugal duties, both of them prove that they are brave enough to sacrifice anything for the sake of their household.

Kalyani (Renjini) is the daughter of a wealthy NRI, who has property in Kerala. Kalyani, brought up in Kerala by her uncle Kaimal (Nedumudi Venu), falls in love and decides to marry against the wishes of her father. When her boyfriend finds out that she will be disinherited, he ditches her at the altar.

After a short while, her father decides to retract his disapproval and spend a fortnight's vacation with his daughter and son-in-law. Because her father is already ill and because this may be his last vacation, Kalyani and Kaimal want to make it as happy for him as possible. They decide to conceal the fact that her boyfriend dumped her.

They hire Vishnu (Mohanlal) to play the part of the husband for a fortnight. Meanwhile, another of her uncles who is caretaker of the property and expected to inherit it when Kalyani was disinherited is determined not to let go without a fight. He knows that Vishnu is not Kalyani's boyfriend and suspects that he is only acting. He makes various botched attempts to prove this. Vishnu and Kalyani are not getting along and keep bickering.

Over time, Kalyani begins to fall in love with Vishnu and hopes to marry him for real. Meanwhile, they have a mysterious visitor in (M.G. Soman), who claims to be a relative of Vishnu.

Vishnu finally reveals the truth about his past to Kalyani. Vishnu is actually an escaped convict from a jail in which (M.G. Soman) is the warden. Vishnu is a photographer and he was married to Lizy, a deaf mute dancer. They also have a child. Vishnu discovers that a man was visiting his wife when he was not around and begins to suspect her fidelity.

Coming home one day, he finds the man there and tried to attack him. Lizy dies in the scuffle that follows and he discovers that the man is her brother who has been involved in illegal activities. He regrets his anger and confesses to murdeing his wife. He tells Kalyani that he escaped to make money for a surgery on his child. He also reveals that the warden has come to arrest him but has delayed the arrest till her father leaves.

After a happy fortnight, Kalyani's father returns to the US, Vishnu goes to jail where the gallows await him and Kalyani takes custody of his child.

Inadvertent love can also be a problem when the pair separates!!!!!!!!!
